Now the reason I feel that way is not because the movies and games sections are(currently) untouched and still active. I feel that way because of the stance on fanart.
Copyright law forbids the unauthorized use of copyrighted images. This is taking an image created by some-one else and using it. Regardless of how you use it and regardless of whetehr or not you give credit to the original owner. Current copyright law also gives the copyright owner control and ownership of deriviative works. Two prime examples of derivative works are fanfiction and fanart. Under the law unauthroized fanfiction and fanart are just as illegal as unauthorized use of copyrighted images.
Devart's policy says that they don't tolerate "image theft, plagarism or ripping" as outlined here They say the modifications done to the images people use in wallpapers isn't enough to pass them off as their own works. Intruth the people making these images aren't claiming the characters as their own they're doing them as a homage to shows and characters they like. Yeah I know that doesn't make a difference in the eyes of the law but still. So they delete them in accordance to policy which they say is to protect them from liability in case the original copyright owners find their stuff and get pissed. However fanart which is just as big a liability as the official images used in the wallpapers are allowed. This is where the hypocrisy comes in. Either your policy follows the law or it doesn't. And if it doesn't follow the law completely then it's nothing but a hypocritical joke.

Take me back to Oz.
They also choose a very poor place to display there ignorance, for all to see on your home page, perhaps some one should teach them a lesson in etiquette and being appropriate with dealing with matters such as theses.
Anyway, if this continues to escalate, let me know, and I will offer what help I can provide. By the way, I like your work in your gallery.

Hey, check out art please
Ashi re-edited the wallpaper and claimed it as her own - supposedly made them from scratch. Have you actually seen it? Take a look at the obscene similarities and be the judge. The two weib wallpapers are has EXTREMELY similar (despite your friend's add on 'blue coloring', white sparkles, text, and the fact that she altered the resolution size) - if you want proof we can do an image overlay.
And by the way, who are you calling a 'MORON'? You're harassing people whithout hearing both sides of the story. You 'demand' Douji apologize for ruining your friend's birthday? What, cause she found out that slight-alteration doesn't count as real talent? What, are you like 13 or something? Oh wait, you are, my mistake.
Let's take a look at the dictionary shall we...
